Do You Have Any Ideas On PoE Battle Royal?

In Path of Exile, do you like Royale Battle? I love it. GGG created a 100 player free-for-all battleground game mode called Path of Exile: Royale, for April Fool’s day joke this year. Do you have enough chaos orbs poe that day?

I think that the mode is fun because it is a mad scramble for gear and tests your ability to efficiently make use of what you find while testing your micro and macro as you manage your inventory, gain xp, and pay attention to your map and surroundings.

Removing level restrictions on gear lessens the test of your micro ability of gaining XP and managing what you find to make you the strongest with what you can use.

If the mode stays it just needs some skill balancing like split arrow range cap reduced and maybe a lower PvP scaling coefficient on frost blades. Otherwise it is pretty much perfect for PoE as is right now, maybe meaningful rewards too, like leo XP and character MTX’s.

Here are some suggestions. I honestly think royale would solve the pvp issue in this game:

1. Auto generate random passive skill tree and then leave it up to the player to find gear to match the tree.

2. Or have full passive builds as orb to pickups in the royale maps – Kinda like how robocraft royale you able to just join random vehicle builds.

3. No lvl limit on items, what you find your able to equip no lvl restrictions.

4. Bigger map, and monsters more spread out seems to many monsters.

5. Keep the same character, so we don’t have to keep making a new one.

6. Arrow skills limit range so its more balanced with other skills aka split arrow is royal meta.

7. Flask more common and with no level restrictions.

Random passive tree – bad, removes the ability of players to adapt to what they find and just adds another layer of RNG (oh cool, got frost blades and screaming eagle, too bad my tree gave me 2 projectile nodes and 3 dex nodes). What’s your opinions? Bear in mind that keeping an eye on poe trade currency.

Path Of Exile: Is Barrage Should Be A Support Gem?

In Path of Exile, with GGG announcing their intention to revamp under-used/under-performing skills, I figured I’d share an opinion I’ve had for a while now: Barrage should be a support gem rather than an active gem.

Currently, Barrage is by far the most-used skill by both bow characters and wanders because there aren’t many other skills that compete when it comes to single-target damage. Keeping an eye on poe orbs buy is important for you.

The solution, in my eyes, is to allow the effect of Barrage to be applied to other ranged attacks, massively increasing the variety of skills to choose from. This would also potentially allow for Barrage to be used as a support for spells, allowing for some much-needed single-target damage for projectile spells.

An additional thought is to create the suggested Barrage Support and also give it the Channeling tag. I feel this is thematically very fitting, and would also allow for the use of channeling supports if desired, opening up some more build possibilities.

There are plenty of projectile support gems to support clearing (GMP, LMP, Volley, Chain, Fork), but mechanically interesting single-target supports are very limited – in fact, Slower Projectiles is the only one I can think of that actually affects mechanics at all and isn’t just a more multiplier, and that isn’t really that interesting for most skills.

So having a single-target support that also affects the skill mechanically would be great, and a Barrage Support seems like an obvious contender to me, along with removing the dominance of Barrage and allowing more variety in bow skills.

One player think that although not disagreeing with the concept of my idea, he don’t think it is the change there are needed. The goal should be a revamp where it gives actual choices and not making gem like your design, into yet another “mandatory” gem. What’s your opinion?

Path Of Exile Is Working For More Updates

The developers of Path of Exile are constantly busy adapting and improving the current Bestiary league. At intervals of only a few days, hotfixes and patches will fix the bugs, install new features or, for example, increase the incidence of yellow & red (Legendary) beasts.

Further improvements to the Bestiary League

In today’s blog post, the team at GGG presents the plans for the near future. The focus is currently on patch 3.2.1b, which will be released this week. The team is mainly concerned with the rewards of the rare, yellow and legendary red beasts. These do not always correspond to the correct ratio of effort and rarity. The red beasts should not become more frequent now, first the yellow ones are improved and should be more value, than only a point on the minimap one ignores.

The yellow beasts should now be more challenging and also serve as ingredients for new recipes. Among other unique talismans, Orbs of Horizons and Harbinger’s Orbs.

The team also has other improvements in the works such as an overview of which beasts belong to the recipe. So that sacrificing the Blood Altar is no longer a guessing game. These changes will come as soon as they are done.

Furthermore, the Path of Exile developers keep an eye on community feedback all the time and also watch social media channels like Reddit.

How To Make Money Through Menagerie Crafting In PoE

In Path of Exile, I have some ridiculously easy way to make money through Menagerie crafting, I want to share it with most players:

1. Buy a Pit of the Chimera map. Chisel it then alch it. Chaos until you get exclusively non – rippy mods that you don’t really care about (e.g. chance to avoid bleed and poison on a non-DOT build).

2. Fill out the rest of the mods through Menagerie. My map has 104 quant and 33 pack size.

3. Mirror it. Buying all of the ingredients on poe.trade amounts to a total of roughly 30c, producing a perfectly rolled map, as opposed to buying a map for 35c and then chis + alching it.

4. Sell it or run the map yourself. Personally, I run Chimera maps.

5. Be careful not to run your “base” map, or else you’ll have to buy and craft a new one.

Here’s a quick list for reference both to you and GGG about Path of Exile. I will try to keep it short and to the point. Will add any issues I forgot that people remind me of in the comments.

Net throw speed increase.

Fuzzy targetting for throwing nets (auto-target rarest mob in general vicinity of throw).

Better beastcrafting recipe order in the list.

New beastcrafting recipes.

Improvements to targetted rare beastcrafting recipes to allow choice of base item (including “free scouring”).

Pending:

Low frequency of legendary beasts.

Low health of yellow bestiary beasts.

Legendary Beasts never generated in Labyrinth instances.

Necromancy Net doesn’t enable corpse targetting hotkey (might be included as a bug fix, though).

Necromancy Net does not work on beasts whose corpse was destroyed (might be included as a bug fix, though).

Inability to disable sounds from net drops.

Tracking recipes, or some other form of QoL so that you know what specific beasts you find in the wild are used for.

Can’t filter recipes by beast mods/beast names.

Warnings for reaching full or near full capacity of specific captured beast types.

Some type of warning when the beast you are attempting to capture outlevels your currently assigned net.

Enraged beasts after the net fails should purge damage over time on them like Abyss spires do, to prevent accidental kills if netting fails.

Beastcrafting rares still largely useless, save for a few specific recipes. (hopefully to be addressed by the last point Chris edited in the announcement).

Beasts that give access to portals to Spirit Beasts extremely rare, to the point of being much rarer than Lich encounters in early Abyss league even before their frequency fixes.

Alchemy orbs. (Highly doubt the shortage is due to nets interfering with boss drops only).

Encroaching Darkness cards and unique map drops in general exceedingly rare compared to previous leagues.
