Sony’s 8th generation home console, the PlayStation 4, has had several top selling games since its launch. More games have been sold for the console than its rivals, the Xbox One and Wii U.

Two games for the PlayStation 4, FIFA 15 and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, have hit five million units sold worldwide at retail, for the week ending December 20, 2014. They are also the first games in the 8th generation to reach the milestone.

FIFA 15 sold 361,083 units for the week, to bring its lifetime sales to 5.30 million units. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare sold 537,583 units for the week, to bring the total sales of 5.25 million units.

Looking at other software sales, there are four games that have sold more than four million units, 14 that have sold more than two million units and 26 that have sold more than one million units. There has been 77.13 million games sold for the PlayStation 4 at retail since its launch in November 2013.
